Aldo Valletti (died 1992, Rome) was an Italian film actor known as a character actor and performer in a grotesque and dramatic film. His most famous role was in Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom, directed by Pier Paolo Pasolini, where he played the role of President Durcet. [1]

Biography

His first appearance in cinema, not credited, dates back to 1956, in Poveri ma belli by Dino Risi. [2]

In 1974 he recited in Il lumacone by Paolo Cavara. [3]

In 1975 was chosen by Franco Lo Cascio for the movie L'educanda. [4] In the same year he played the role of Durcet President in Salo or the 120 Days of Sodom directed by Pier Paolo Pasolini [5], where he was dubbed for the occasion of Marco Bellocchio. [6]

Also in 1975 he obtained a small part in Frankenstein all'italiana by Armando Crispino. [7]

In 1976 he was hired by Tinto Brass in the film Salon Kitty, where he played the part of a nobleman, with a particular propensity towards sex. [8] In the same year he had a bit part in Febbre da cavallo by Steno. [9]

In 1977 he was in the movie Stato interessante by Sergio Nasca [10], and in the same year, he played in Io ho paura, by Damiano Damiani. [11]

The last appearance of Aldo Valletti goes back to 1980, in Arrivano i gatti by Carlo Vanzina. [12]
